Finally got one of my wishlist plants, caramel marble philodendron. How easy/hard are they?

  1. We must be in a different tax bracket if you’re buying one without any prior knowledge haha

Easy, easy, easy. Care for it like any other houseplant. Bright indirect light, moderate humidity, water when top inch is dry, well draining chunky soil, etc.

Standard philodendron care, they are not particularly special on that regard. Treat it as you would a Ring of Fire or Prince of Orange. I’d say they are easier/less frustrating than Pink Princess or White Wizard, as those get their leaves stuck frequently.

I got my ROF in semi hydro in leca and it loves it

Fairly easy like any other philodendron! Bright indirect light 12+ hours daily, regular watering/fertilizer like any other philo.

I have mine in semi hydro and it’s been unfurling 14 inch leaves. Someone else said they keep their humidity at 80 and it’s been growing quickly for them. I’m thinking about raising the humidity for mine slowly.

I got mine about 6 months ago. I put it in semi hydro, it now has mature leaves, it was a similar size to yours. They are heavy feeders.
