I planted a lot of new perennials this spring in this bed, leading to some late blooms as things get established. Like this kniphofia glowstick which usually blooms in the spring, along with some anise hyssop, spirea, and echinaceas. The blue grass is a totem pole panicum, my favorite newcomer this year, that is supposed to grow to 5 ft tall eventually.

I am not sure if I will ever get this combo again so capturing it while I can!

Plants:

Echinacea – green twister, from seed
Japanese spirea – lemon princess?
Panicum – totem pole
We – glow stick
Smokebush – winecraft black
Verbena bonariensis -seed
Anise hyssop – blue fortune, seed
