We had a good crop of tomatillos this year (all volunteers, not planted) and didn’t know what else to do. Then my wife heard about smoking them. We’re freezing them afterwards for future use.

    I can a heap of salsa Verde every year but have never tried smoking them. Got any good recipe ideas? I can’t picture what they’d go well with and am keen to try something!

    Yeah I roast and freeze for making salsa verde all winter long
