I planted some seedling Mysore raspberries that I bought online last year in late February/early March and they started off very slow and struggling. One of them has grown a few long canes by now. I've read lots of stuff on how and when to prune black raspberries, but none have mentioned whether you should just leave a seedling alone or treat it like a mature plant. I am located in San Antonio TX in case that's helpful info. And the easiest to understand reference I have found is this: https://ourtropicalsoil.com/2020/12/04/prune-mysore-raspberries-warm-climates/
