The milkweed did really well over the summer and I thought we missed having monarch caterpillars but looked out today and both plants had some. Too cool!

That’s so great. We’re still waiting to have any.

I live in Santa Cruz and we have a ton of them in our yard right now!

What zone? I haven’t seen anything. Seen some adults, that’s about it.

Awesome! One of very few times, when we are delighted the insects are eating our plants! Exciting!

Soon as I planted a tiny little milkweed I had tons of Monarchs and have many caterpillars on mine. Not much to eat though.

My parents have some monarch caterpillars that have already built their cocoons… My milkweed didn’t even get aphids this year… But they did go to seed so I have plenty of seeds for next year!

They’re such cool looking caterpillars to me! Very Alice in Wonderland. 🍄

We have cats but are struggling with wasps right now.

calparks.org needs reporting of monarchs to track migration patterns. you might want to submit your video and info!

Those Antennae!!! Wow! They look like they could pick up stations on the moon! Very cool video of a beautiful baby 😍

I planted some for the first time this year myself! Any tips? Or just kind of plant it and eventually it worked out?

They devoured my plants and I sadly had no more food to give! Dead plant and dead caterpillars! Trauma experience. I learned “don’t try to be like Mother Earth”.
