Forgive me for calling it a "her", I don't usually call houseplants "him" or "her", but gawd I love her! When I saw her I didn't don't hesitate even though I already have enough houseplants (I say that so much it has almost become meaningless. đ
From what I've read she will like to be on a pebble tray because she'll like high humidity. I've been spraying her every day to encourage leaf growth around the top because I hate that blunt chop at the top. đ€ź It seems to be working! New leaf growth and no more leaf drop seems to suggest so.
She's in filtered sunlight near an east window.
Should I plant in a deeper pot? Should I let viney roots grow wherever they want?
Any and all hints/help would be appreciated! đż

Great, opened this at work and now Iâm fired. Thanks OP next time tag it NSFW.
Itâs giving body đ€Ł
I also have one but sheâs only in water right nowâŠno soil and doing pretty well! I had fruit flys in my soil when I got her so I took it all out, but I add fertilizer and water and sheâs doing well but I know thatâs not beneficial long term. Hopefully someone can give more feedback đ
I understand why you call her a ‘her’ đ she curvy AF, and I’m jelly now đ€Ł
I have one! Mine is a boy, though. Due to his shape. đ€Ł I love him so much. I live in the desert by San Diego and he lives on my patio. I pinch the new stuff off around fhe bottom and just let him go.
everything reminds me of her….
No care tips, just gotta say her body is tea đ
Sheâs beautiful! I have 3 that I fell in love with. They havenât had much if any growth since I bought them the first of the year. Iâve been thinking of putting them in a deeper pot too. They are getting bright indirect light.
I have one and she doesnât like to go dry- likes her soil to stay moist. Mine gets indirect light and is doing well.
She thicc
Damn thatâs a hot ass lil tree!
So beautiful!
I have one! Theyâre basically like a mini tree. Well draining soil, lots of bright indirect light and fertilize once a month⊠itâs a mini ficus microcarpa đ

I believe they would be able to give you some detailed responses. Love the shape, great specimen to shape over the years to come!
I don’t know anything about her other than she is lovely and I want to look like her.
Ours sits in an extra deep pot that acts as a reservoir for the roots to reach down to and use moisture as it needs, it has an XL branch that seems to have grown out of the trunk rather than the top foliage that was grafted onto it. It gets lots of sun indoors and we put it in a shady spot outside in the summer

Girl is THICCCC
Sheâs built
I’ve had one for 6 years and she just bloomed for the first time with the most beautiful flowers đ„°
Pray to it
Ginseng ficus. Mine is in bonsai soil in an âaeratedâ (I used a soldering iron to put holes in it) nursery pot that sits inside a cement plant pot without drainage holes and I add some water to that reservoir whenever it gets below a cm or so. It sits under a Sansi grow light inside for 3 seasons and outside (slowly transitioning to sunlight) during summer. Lovely little tree.
I should call her

I have one that got “lost” behind some of my other houseplants (yes, it’s an addiction, lol!). When I rediscovered it, there weren’t any leaves left, just the trunk and a few twigs sticking out from. I figured I’d just put it outside and see what happens, figuring I’d accidentally killed it. This is it, now:
I fertilized it once, this summer, after it came back.
So, not a lot of care is really necessary, IMHO!
Put it in a huge pot.
It will become a big tree

ok you need to put this one on a shrine and give it monthly offerings i dont make the rules
I know that âMandrakeâ. Is harvested in the South, and they make pretty good money for selling it..
But to me you plant looks like an âIndian Banyan, or ficus micro arepa/ Chinese banyanâŠ
Itâs those enormous trees that you see in Hawaii in parks. With a lot of areal roots very invasive
I’ve had one for five years and it’s the hardest plant for me! So few leaves not a lot of growth, gets loads of sun etc just can’t make it happy. I pray mine one day looks like this!
That plant is shaped like Cardi B goddamn
The comments make me proud to be apart of this community

He likes to dry all the way out before watering.
Got extra wide birthin’ hips!
I want one so bad but I have not been able to come across one yet đ„

Just make sure youâre wearing ear protection when you pull it out of its pot. đ
I had one that died and I think it wouldâve liked me better on the patio
Only repot if rootbound. Let the roots wander itâs natural. Keep misting and give her that humidity boost. Sheâs thriving!
