AN AWARD-winning garden which wowed the judges at the RHS (Royal Horticultural Society’s) Malvern Spring Festival earlier this year, is set to open at the Primrose Hospice.
The ‘St Godwald’s Retreat’ is a new reflective creation by FB and Sons Lawns and Landscapes for Primrose after a link-up between the two,

It will be officially opened at its new home at the Primrose Hospice in Bromsgrove from 2pm to 4pm on October 12 and everyone is welcome.

The garden was awarded a bronze medal at the RHS Spring Festival.

Designer Marc Harbourne-Bessant said: “We hope the garden will become a space of peace and reflection for patients, families, and children of all ages.

“It has been designed with distinct areas to explore and enjoy, featuring scented flowers and vibrant foliage.

“The gardens at Primrose Hospice are already special and beautiful, but we hope this addition will add another meaningful layer.

“We believe the Wind Phone and Reflection Lodge will offer people a unique space to grieve and remember their loved ones.”

During the event, attendees will be able to hear from Marc and Darryl from FB and Sons about the garden’s unique features.

Visitors will then have the chance to explore the garden, followed by tea and cake.

Angelique Dalton, the Primrose Hospice’s chief operating officer, said: “We are so privileged to have worked with FB and Sons Lawns and Landscapes on the RHS Malvern Festival project.

“I was bursting with pride at the festival – not only in promoting the invaluable work of the hospice, but also in showcasing the stunning work of Marc, Darryl and the FB and Sons team to such a wide audience.

“Bringing the garden back to the hospice will allow so many patients, families and visitors to enjoy and benefit from this beautiful space. ”

Entry is free and open to everyone in the community.

All paths around the garden and hospice are wheelchair accessible. Dogs on leads are welcome.
