Leafs are quit dry and 30% of them are brown… what do I need to do? I have watered it like once a day for a week I think. It gets good light but soon not bc i live in finland…

  1. once a day is too much for this plant! it’s ponytail palm and it needs to be bone dry before watering again. check the roots and change the soil to avoid overwatering. also inspect for pests and isolate from other plants for a while just in case

    It’s pretty common for the bottom set of leaves of the lower leaves to turn brown and fall off.
    It’s generally how Palm trees grow even though it’s not really a Palm.You can just take a minute, pull them off.Actually it’s best. They’re native to the desert that should tell you all you need to know about watering and sun.

    It’s a fairly easy to have plant, quite resistant, mine was once completely leafless and basically dead (after the person taking care of it didn’t…) and so after just about 2 months of watering and looking after her she was back to normal, better even. But the top comment is right, wait for it to be bone dry, have her in quarantine because of insects and sicknesses, then just have a half sunny place and water every few weeks.
