I’m sorry, but the vase is a terrible idea. This will kill the plant very quickly. The roots need an open, airy potting medium, like chunky bark chips. Orchids are epiphytes, which means they grow attached to trees with their roots exposed to the air.
Dendrobium nobile. Requires a dry winter rest. Look up care (there’s tons of info out there) and get it out of the vase.
So pretty!
That’s a beautiful Dendrobium nobile orchid! If it was in a pot with a mix that looked mostly like bark, I hope you kept the pot and bark, because you need to repot it as it was. They need a bark mix that can absorb water but also allow air to reach the roots. Dendrobiums are epiphytes that attach to trees in (mostly) rainforest settings. They are not meant to be left standing in water. Once potted correctly, your den will need watering a couple times a week during the growing season, bright indirect light, and fairly warm temps. They are easy to grow indoors and can live for many years. [This article is a pretty good reference for their care.](https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/orchids/dendrobium-nobile-orchid-care)
It is super hard to grow orchids in water. It would be better to switch to an orchid mix. If you don’t mix your own, try Molly’s Orchid Mix from veryplants (not sponsored lol). It’s my go to orchid mix
Densrobiums hate being constantly moist roots, the media needs to dry before watering.
Gorgeous plant! The vase is a poor choice though, the roots will likely just rot standing in water like that. You need a pot with drainage at the bottom and a free-draining potting medium that allows airflow while still holding some moisture (a mix of medium-sized orchid bark and torn up sphagnum moss often works quite well)

UPDATE – i put her in an orchid mix with bark and moss , fingers crossed she lives , thank you all for the advice 🙂
