My monstera never had any problems over the last years, the watering regime and light intensity seems fine. But lately all my small leaves turned brown and died, and now my bigger leaves get yellow and brown, and there is some yellowish spicks on there. What should I do?

When is the last time you repotted?
Zooming the second picture, it looks like it’s covered with thrips.
The little yellow spicks look like thrips or scale. They’re hard to notice until the leaves start browning. Inspect the leaves and stems and give it a good spray with insecticidal soap and clean up it up. You may need to chop some of the leaves if they’re too far gone. I would also quarantine that plant from your other plants, the insects can easily hop across and start feasting on your other babies!
Thrips
Absolutely infested with thrips.
Definitely thrips, and a really bad infestation
100% thrips, I just finished dealing with thrips, though yours looks like a pretty bad infestation. First take it outside or put in your shower/tub and spray it down completely to get all the bugs off. Then, get captain jacks deadbug brew and DRENCH the entire plant, front and back of leaves, stems, etc. (Ive been doing this every 6-7 days but some people I’ve seen do it more frequent) then you also want to get systemic granuals! You sprinkle it on the soil and mix it in & then water. Repeat every 8 weeks. The deadbug brew will kill them on contact, but the systemic granuals get absorbed by the roots when you water the plant and then if any bugs go to eat the plant, they die. You have to be dedicated and diligent but you should be able to save your baby!
Your monstera is infested with bugs. How do people never see white specks and small weird things on. Their leaves? I check my plants at least once a day maybe 2 depending where and what and im inspecting and preventative spraying always. This prevents this from happening. Once you got em its harder. If at all possible. Depending on the pests. If you see specks or rice looking things, maybe its fuzz maybe it isnt you shoukd air on the side of caution and tell yourself it os something that needs to be assessed. I wipe my plants off often as well. If you had 50 leaves that isnt happening but a couple leaves one ahould be able to catch. This crisis before it happens or at least take measures to prevent. Unless tou got it infested already which happens often. If I get a new plant the 1st thing that happens is it stays nowhere in my house. If its cold…dont buy plants in the winter lol or get a heater on it on the porch. Dnt bring that thing inside. Change the soil completely. And thoroughly clean your pot. THOROUGHLY. AND THE ROOTS. I use 1/4 peroxide to evey gallon of water and use that to dip roots. Then I do som type of natural fungal insecticide to kill whatever is on foliage. Dunking is the the only way to ensure they are not still hitchhiking in crevices or folds like hoyas etc. I hope this helps.
Id but that plant off and propagate it. Get a fee props out of it and try to save the roots to build more shoots. Once you do all the cleaning. If you dnt do all that just get ride of it. And if you have other plants they def have then too. Trips fly.
You have thrips 🙁
the way i dealt with thrips was i used a systemic pesticide stick that I put into the soil (i use Provanto) and then douse the plant with an insecticide spray to kill the adult and pupae . You can find good options in a store . Check your leaves and spray if you see pupae or adults while you wait for the systemic to help . I would also recommend cutting down your leaves because unfortunately they look heavily damaged and infested, and thrips lay eggs inside the plant tissue . Good luck, (also quarantine your plant, thrips can fly and spread fast to other plants)
So many thrips!😭😭 is it worth it? or else start over. Hoze it down with water and then insect spray
Oh my lord… my jaw hit the floor
Lord
It’s teeming with thrips. Every leaf that has that rust colored marbling is infested. The bugs are tiny and can easily be mistaken for mineral deposits or dust by the uninitiated, but stand still and look at them closely for long enough, and you’ll see them moving around.
If there is a healthy and relatively uninvolved area, you might consider taking a cutting, washing it really well, and starting over because that is a very serious infestation. Treating it will be difficult.
If you want to treat it, I’ve had luck with wiping down the leaves and stems with Captain Jack’s Dead Bug and then drenching the soil with systemic pesticides like imidacloprid. This was for very minor infestations with minimal leaf damage, though. Best of luck, whatever you decide.
Yeah, no. This baby is done. Pack it up, throw it out and check every other plant in hour house. Thrips are not fun to fight.

You should ask all those thrips if they know why it’s dying.
Before you start using insecticide, maybe look into getting some Orius bugs, they are my best friends for pest control. I get one batch a year and that combined with cleaning the leaves does the trick.
My sweet summer child, it is literally covered in visible pests.
