Hey everyone. What would be your advice for my lawn now it’s autumn? I would say the main problem is inconsistency, as you can see some parts are lush green whereas others are brown. We scarified and aerated in spring.

We only moved into the property this year and it was a mess before so overall I’m happy with our progress! Many thanks in advance.

Just give it a good feed and water, autumn is perfect for helping it thicken up.

Keep mowing it relatively long after this parched and hot summer. Let the leaves catch the sun and the roots catch all this rain.

A light top dressing with compost wouldn’t hurt at all. A bit too late in the year to fertilise with liquid seaweed now I think. It’s getting colder and there was hail today!

Raking with a bendy pronged rake would give a micro-scarification. I prefer to scarify in the autumn, as the lawn has more time to recover before summer.

looks fine it should recover between now and spring.
