I bought a baby toes plant about a month ago. The care instructions said to water once the window of the leaves was wrinkly. Since it was not the case, I did not water the plant since I bought it.
Three or four days ago, I noticed that many leaves were wrinkly and dying (or dead), but not their window. Most of the leaves are not wrinkly and healthty. I watered the plant just in case, but more leaves are dying.
The plant is kept indoor near a south facing window. I kept the plant in its original pot. What am I doing wrong? Thank you!

i’d personally put it in a slightly bigger pot . it looks to me like they’re wrinkling because they need more space .
Succulents get wrinkly when they need water. Water your damn plant
The soil it was sold in is not the ideal soil for it to live in. I recommend reading the following two links:

These are desert plants; the more closely you can imitate that environment, the better your plant will do. GL
