Hi everyone, I’m new to cactus growing. Last Tuesday, I got my first rooted San Pedro. It’s in a spot with plenty of indirect, filtered light through a curtain. I’ve noticed some yellowing spots starting to show up around a wound it had when it arrived. Is this just part of it adjusting? Should I do something now to fix it, or just keep up with the acclimation process until I can give it full light and water to help it recover? Thanks a ton, everyone!

I wouldn’t worry about the yellow spots, maybe it had a beat-up transportation?

But I would worry about the indirect light and cutains. These cacti need full sunlight to thrive and be healthy. In indirect light they become unhealthy and get into survival mode.

Don’t forget to acclimate to full sunlight first.
