first thing you do is to cut up all your kitchen scrap into small pieces banana peel apple peel this is considered green which is nitrogen and we’re going to put all in your uh compost tumbler and whatever green you add I I suggest you guys add one to two bowl of Browns which is dry Leaf dry grass and you can see these are cutting up and breaking down the smaller pieces the reason why we we’re cutting everything up into smaller pieces because it’s going to decompose faster it takes between a month to three month if you cut it up this small if you cut it up this small uh what to do next we’re going to water it down you want to make sure you add water to keep it moist water helps the decompos and it does not loose the nutrition value and then you close it up and then you mix it so you’re going to spin the compost tumbler about 10 times you want to mix this about three to four times a week I suggest three times a week and make sure the side a vent you have your air vent open

❤❤❤ During the winter, I add my scraps to my soil. I can tell the difference in growth right now of radishes grown in soil I added food scraps to and the one I didn’t. Same germination time and the one without is lagging behind in growth.
