Tacca chantrieri a.k.a. black bat flower 🦇; I almost lost this plant.
.
.
She was knocked over by the neighbor's cats and went into shock. I had to painstakingly separate the two plants that were potted together and one didn't make it. The survivor was kept in ICU (my snake room) with a grow light and the high humidity of that room. Slowly stopped loosing leaves and it was left UGLY. But ALIVE!

.
Today she has a flower pod and I'm excited for the black bat to make an appearance, I'm happy to say she is now thriving and nice and bushy. 😊

It’s the perfect October plant, I love it.
Looks so cool! How do you care for it? What does it require to thrive?
