I just bought this fiddle leaf fig from someone and want to make sure I am giving it enough light. It’s an east facing windows but the lighting is consistent like this all day and it doesn’t get any direct sunlight at all.
most probably it is not enough. also, the curtain is not helping, but even without it it might not be enough. This is not a strict rule (you might find the specific plant that fluorishes even in low light but it’s an exception. You might try leaving it there for some time and see how it goes, but move the curtain away

Probably not. I’d add a grow light to the dark side.

Drawing this curtain to other side of window..and move the pot a bit more closer to window..
In the future,if you want to KEEP THEIRS HEIGHT,more branches and thicker trunks..you just ALWAYS pluck terminal buds(or new growths) off..more buds(become branches) will grow along the trunks..trunks also grow thicker and thicker….
