I’m in Toronto Ontario zone 6b(?). Looking for recommendations on what native plants to replace these with. I know there is a yew bush, some hostas and I’m not sure what the others are.
What would you do with this space? I’d want something that’s always tall year round because there’s an ugly big pipe behind the bush.
Bonus points for edible native perennials!

R/nativeplantgardening may be a better place for recommendations although I think there is a large overlap between nolawns and native plants.
You could also consider expanding your garden bed so it is deeper and runs along the walkway.
