Seeing this for the first time on my bird of paradise – wondering if anyone knows why it’s like that or if there’s a need to take action
Water – weekly or when soil is drying out in the top inch or two. (Hasn’t showed signs of root rot, if anything I’ve let it get a little too crispy a couple times)
Light – lots of bright indirect light with a plant light to supplement
Pebble tray for better humidity
I naively put a layer of rocks at the bottom when I potted it, so possibly there’s not sufficient drainage? I’ve been meaning to get it in a better soil mix and remove the rocks – hopefully this week
