Do you have an irrigation system? It could be your sprinkler head spraying the grass backwards

  2. Oh wow – thank you for the fast answers! You are absolutely right. There is a sprinkler head!

Looks like it comes to a point. Did a squirrel rip a big one?

Looks like you might need to raise the sprinkler head or get one that extends higher. Or, it’s just not coming up all the way.

Peacock 🦚 grass. It’s a common trait as its ancestors are peacocks.

Sprinkler head is too short. It should rise above the grass blades but this one is firing into the blades.

  7. Yes I think your sprinklers are under the impression that your grass is quite short

Sunk sprinkler or low pressure on popup sprinkler head. Run the irrigation and look if it’s struggling to reach the max height. If it’s bobbing up and down, you might have a damaged line or leak. If it’s max height, you need to raise the line with a riser or just lift up the flexible tubing connected to the base of the sprinkler.

… that’s your sprinkler head. The grass lays flat because it was flattened by the water coming out of the sprinkler.

  11. That water that squirts out of the ground in your yard every once in a while is your sprinkler system. This is a point where the water squirts out
