Made these last night from a recipe in the Gourmet Fresh cookbook. Tomatoes are Old Fashioned Red heirlooms (variety new to me this year but definitely a must-grow from now on – very flavorful, beautifully shaped and quite productive) and other ingredients included thyme and rosemary from our herb garden and thin slices of a Walla Walla sweet onion from our kitchen garden.
