Gardening tips and tricks using tech
You can use tech to make gardening easier.
Problem Solved
HGTV named the most beautiful garden you can visit in every state and the Red Butte Garden in Salt Lake City earned the nod as its choice for Utah.
The garden boasts 3,000 species of plants & trees “across 100 acres of themed gardens & natural areas,” according to its website.
HGTV acknowledged people could reasonably disagree with its picks and emphasized that it was trying to highlight some of the best in the nation, not discourage people from checking out others.
“We love gardens of all shapes and sizes – and know you do too!” HGTV wrote. “And we just want to be sure you don’t miss any icons that could be right under your nose — or on your travel itinerary — when time is a finite resource. These spots across the country are absolutely worth visiting.”
What makes Red Butte Garden the best garden in Utah?
“The Intermountain West’s botanical showcase (another name for Red Butte) spans 100 acres where themed gardens demonstrate water-wise techniques against a dramatic mountain backdrop,” HGTV writes. “The garden’s summer concert series has become a beloved tradition, with music echoing through the natural amphitheater.”
Admission is $16 for adults (18-64), $14 for seniors (65+) and military & Veterans (with ID), $8 for children (3-17). Admission is free for members, University of Utah faculty, staff, & students with a valid Ucard) and Native American nation members.
The garden also offers concerts, art exhibits and more educational and cultural activities for adults and children.
