SEOUL, Sept 12 — Acclaimed actor Song Kang-ho is set to headline a new feature by Handsome Guys director Nam Dong-hyub, production company Hive Media Corp announced yesterday.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the film — currently using the working title Gardeners — follows Young-il (played by Song), a civil servant with a deep love for gardening.
Struggling with heavy debt, he teams up with a local troublemaker to start a landscaping business, only to see their quiet village descend into chaos.

The project marks Nam’s second feature after his horror-comedy debut Handsome Guys, which earned him multiple accolades including Best New Director at this year’s Directors Cut Awards.
Gardeners is now in pre-production and expected to begin filming next year.
