I woke up this morning to find lots of tiny clumps of soil on top of my lawn in many places. The grass is quite thick, so it’s hard to see clearly, but it looks like there might be small holes underneath. Should I be worried?
Worm casts. 100% friendly activity and a sign of healthy soil. ( Almost wrote worm sign – been watching too much Dune 😂)

Free aeration, the worms come up for air when it’s raining. The casts can look unsightly on very manicured lawns, if so when they’re dry just brush them in lightly.

Happens every September. It’s fine.
