Better Homes and Gardens returns tonight with water-saving tips, spring gardening and a family pig
Better Homes and Gardens screens a new episode this evening, with the team showcasing projects that span from practical home sustainability to culinary inspiration and a unique pet dilemma.
Johanna Griggs and Adam Dovile explore household water conservation, presenting methods that extend from the kitchen and laundry through to the garden. The program notes that some of these suggestions are less commonly known, with one tip even involving milk.

Food takes centre stage with Colin Fassnidge, who swaps traditional risotto rice for pearl barley in a dish combining chicken, chorizo, thyme and cheese. Meanwhile, Clarissa Feildel demonstrates how to prepare pork dumplings, complete with a chilli-based dipping sauce and a crisp pan finish.
Animal expert Dr Harry Cooper visits the Doull family, who adopted a piglet discovered on a building site. Now fully grown, the animal named Beavis has become a central part of their household, prompting a need for advice on feeding, housing and care.
Design features also appear in this week’s line-up. Adam Dovile joins Juliet Love to transform a parent’s bedroom using current colour trends, while Charlie Albone meets landscape designer Kath Gadd, whose work highlights the use of native plants in urban gardens.
Completing the episode, Melissa King offers guidance for spring, from lawn care to creating outdoor spaces for relaxation.
Better Homes and Gardens airs tonight, Friday 5 September at 7.00pm on Channel 7 and 7plus.
