Probably mislabelled, looks more like they’re naturally black

Labels often get mixed up at retail spaces. You’ve got a dark coloured variety such as ‘black cherry’.

Oh, those look good. How do they taste?

Most of the black varieties are ripe when the bottom turns red. They are yummy!

Did they grow next to an eggplant by any chance? 😄

Hey be careful, these once edible and beautiful tomatoes have obviously been cursed by hired etsy witches. Do not eat!

It doesn’t hurt to pick one and taste it. Looks like a ripe cherry tomato to me.

I planted some cherry tomatoes that were named something like “midnight.” They were delicious! The best part was that when you remove the stem, it left a red star shape underneath. I’ve looked but never found any since. My second favorite was a golden pear-shaped cherry tomato. I haven’t seen them either.

The variety is called “Midnight Snack” I grew some this year.

Indigos! Ripe once the green patches start to get and orange-red hue. The dark areas will stay dark. They have been our favorite producer this season.
