Rooting the cutting was such a struggle (it took foreeeeeever), and being the silly banana I am, I decided to do this before winter which probably was a bad idea. BUT, my patience was rewarded and look how beautiful she is now😭
Once well-rooted, I clipped the stem in two places, and was rewarded with 4 new growth nodes. She is definitely my favourite (these are really really difficult to find in South Africa, and I am so grateful I snagged a cutting when I did)🌟

I had struggles rooting mine as well. I had chopped a 12 node cutting and tried rooting it in pon and other half in soil. The pon one rooted and grew a leaf, but then they all rotted.
