I grew this 9-foot-tall hollyhock from seed in the summer of 2022 and it’s blooming for a second spring. It came back from the roots after a fairly mild winter and a little protection during an arctic outbreak in January. Check out my zinnias in full bloom: https://youtu.be/uvL3ISPclCQ

I wanted to try and show you how tall this Holly Hawk is this Holly Hawk was planted from seed in a tray in July of 2022 over winter bloomed last spring along with five others somehow you know I got it through the second winter and it has come back with a vengeance it’s like 9 ft tall right now I’m so excited it was really windy the other day and I came out here here and I saw a hummingbird trying to feed on these blooms it was both funny and kind of sad cuz the hummingbird couldn’t quite line up and I was like wow that’s a lot of energy going into trying to get some fuel and it’s just burning fuel while I was doing it but so beautiful

I'm jealous
I have some seeds growing in trays right now. Hopefully they’ll look that way one day 🤞
They look beautiful ❤
Gorgeous! ❤ Love the pale pink next to that dark purple.

You must feel so elated, I know I do!

I have never heard of hollyhock blooming twice. They always die after they bloom on there second year
I planted last year in my garden and this year a bug 🪳 is eating the leaves. 🥹
We planted aome from plants and returned 6 months kater and they were all massive
It’s like okra and poppies had a love child.
Beautiful ❤
