This is my first post in Reddit, so please, bear with me…
Can anyone help me save this plant? There's a sort of white substance at the base of each leaf. I've tried washing it away using a soft cloth with water and soap but no luck…

The leaves look a bit sunburnt because I had to put it outside for 2 days due to some work we were doing inside the apartment.

It’s infested with mealy bugs. You can mix isopropyl alcohol with water and spray the heck out of it. Or you can dab them individually with a cotton swab with same mixture. Personally, I would trash the whole plant. These guys are very susceptible to infestations and even treating them can return

Honestly my friend, let her go.

I’ve battled the mites and tried to save a plant, all the leaves fell off, bought all the products, swabbed and wiped and cleaned and added netting and repotted and blahblahblahblahahhhhhh.

I love all my plants and I’m telling you, it is not worth the fight. Start over. Less water on the next plant, better draining soil. Ect.

Don’t do this. Don’t do this to yourself lol
