That you can always learn how to be a good plant parent if you do your research. Have had this plant for 2 years and it didn't start thriving until I gave up and put it outside. That's when I realized it just needed more light and invested in a strong grow light for the winter. It's all a learning curve, you got this!

Totally agree with you on researching, I think a lot of people try to “wing it” or blindly trust what the seller told them and their plants never end up thriving. You have to inform yourself to get your plants to shine!

I learned this the hard way as well! Sempervivum need a ton of light. Mine are now growing happily under grow light indoors. Your hen and chicks is gorgeous with beautiful colors!
