Spotted hiking in mountains in northern Laos (near Nong Khiaw, somewhere between 550-650m elevation). Growing in dense jungle, just one plant, thick stem with a white bulb with very vibrant blue berries or grapes growing out of it. What is this?

I’m going to guess Amorphophallus yunnanensis – a smaller species of corpse flower than its more famous (and gigantic) cousin Amorphophallus titanum. The berries start green, turn blue, then deepen to violet.

Definitely an *Amorphophallus*, but what species it is I don’t know and am not near my reference material.
