  1. The fog over your gardens and yard is so beautiful and peaceful providing much needed moisture for the plants. Nut grass is very stubborn for sure but must be dealt with as you go. I hate walking into spider webs I can't see as they just spring up overnight. Will be interesting what that grub turns into but it might not be a good thing. Hope your wound is healing up quickly…

  2. 😱 Never seen a grub that size, gross! It's a future Japanese beetle. ☹ When I dig in the soil and find them I feed them to my ducks. I never let them live.
I have been watering for hours every day and it is barely helping my plants hang on. I did notice that the whippoorwill and goose peas continue to produce in drought conditions as does the okra. 😵‍💫 I sent my husband to work today with 4 quart bags of okra. I don't want to put up anymore!
Thanks for the tour, Kaye! Always interesting.💖

  3. That grub has been chowing down on lots of…grub!?!? All I know is that during the years my husband sprayed herbicide on the yard, we had lots and LOTS of moles. Moles LOVE grubs! We tried traps and poison, but nothing really worked. Then several years ago, I convinced him to stop spraying. The mole population has shrunk considerably. We only have them here and there, now and then. So I assume we don't have many grubs 🤷🏻‍♀️

  4. Hello there dear kaye, oh the weather definitely different, here its been cooler with showers. A very lovely video kaye, that huge fellow (grub)im thinking that he needs to ig his way under to hide for the winter, 😮😊,i love you spot a ll the lovely creatures thank-you so much for showing us.sending love and blessings, if you have your friends with you hope its really good time, thinking of you xxme and my garden girls 🐔. 😊

  5. Japanese beetle grub. I have been treating my yard organically with Milky Spore, Nematodes and GrubGONE. This season was the first where the beetle pressure was minimal. I have a lot of roses to protect. I treat in fall and spring. None toxic and won't kill pollinators and other beneficial insects.
