How to get Cracked mutation in Grow a Garden
To get a Cracked mutation in Grow a Garden, you need to have experienced the Earthquake weather event in game. Afterwards (or during if you’re lucky), investigate your plants and see if a fruit has cracks all over it – similar to those in the ground caused by the Earthquake. This is a Cracked mutation!

While it still needs to be confirmed, it appears that the Cracked mutation has at least a x4 multiplier for your crops.
Grow a Garden Earthquake
Earthquake is a weather event in Grow a Garden where the ground will suddenly see it split by a huge crack down the centre of it, with the Cracked mutation possibly applying to some of your crops.
It appears that the Earthquake weather is going to be a new natural weather event, meaning that at any point whilst playing Grow a Garden, this event could occur. Whilst there’s no saying when exactly this event may occur in the future, it’s probable that – with enough time playing – you’ll encounter it at some point.
