A Town of Dickinson culinary event will celebrate seasonal ingredients in a garden setting.
The Taste of Market Garden Party, organized by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County, will be held from 5-7:30 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Cutler Botanic Garden on Upper Front Street.
According to a CCE press release, funds raised by the event will support the restoration of the garden, which was damaged in a summer storm.
Food will be provided by Flaming Bag Catering and Sweetay’s, with a focus on seasonal ingredients. Signature drinks and desserts will also be available.
As part of the evening’s festivities, attendees will be able to participate in garden tours, lawn games and enjoy live music provided by the Alpha Brass Band.
How to get tickets to Taste of Market Garden Party
Tickets for the event are available online at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Broome County website, cost $65 per person and include food and beverage tastings.
Ticket purchases come with one raffle entry, with prizes including a hot-air balloon ride for two.
