Everyone has been asking me if I sealed these hand painted mosaic steps that I spent the last two weeks painstakingly painting. And the answer is yes, of course I did. I used this lacquer that the paint specialist at Home Depot recommended after I described my project. It’s meant for outdoor floor use. And while I still can’t guarantee that this won’t chip over time, re-sealing it regularly will definitely help. And before you ask, yes, of course, I did multiple coats. So far so good. It’s hard to scratch and let’s hope it stays that way.

  1. I honestly don’t understand why people feel the need to presume! 😂 When I saw how painstakingly you painted those tiles, I knew you had sealed your work!❤❤❤

  2. If this becomes slippery when wet, you can get a clear anti-slip spray at the home depot as well. It's by Rustoleum and it works well!

  3. Did YoU SeAL IT??!!!…….
Nah the poor girl spent days curled over like a damn shrimp and painstakingly painting three damn mosaics….THAT ARE PERFECT. Spends two weeks recovering from the hand cramps and posture, then she leaves it to wash away within a few months without sealing it 😂

  4. I like it but, my momma has to restain her deck every 2 years or so. Not even paint, stain. I wish you all the best with it lasting, but I'm nervous for you
