A 3ft tall Norwegian fir I bought last November finally has new shoots… but didn’t start until August! I fertilized with slow release pellets in March. We had a hot dry summer by Uk standards. Do I worry, correct its growth cycle somehow, or let it mature like this with end of summer growth?
