Concern After Watering

Hey there, over the past two weeks, detached my lawn aerated and brought in 5 yards of loam to even out the yard and overseed and top dress. This was due to packed soil from years over using and dogs. We had torrential downpours unexpectedly after seeding and now I fear that the soil looks compacted after the first two waters of keeping it moist without overwatering. Is there anything that I should do to fix this or should I just be patient and wait it out. It just looks like when I do water that there’s puddling in some spots and the seeds look packed into the soil. Am I just overthinking this or should I do something else? Appreciate the help.
