The Blazing Mutation was added to Grow a Garden on September 6, 2025, as part of the Fairy Update expansion. It’s a mutation that requires combining two different mutations to make it, so here’s everything you need to know about it. Such as how to get it and what it does!
How to Get the Blazing Mutation in Grow a Garden
Before you can get the Blazing Mutation, you’ll need to know how to get the Flaming and Molten Mutations. This is because you have to combine these two on a crop in your garden to make the Blazing mutation. Unfortunately, these two require rare pets and/or an admin event.
The Flaming Mutation is exclusive to the Phoenix pet. It has an ability where it can apply this mutation to four random fruit in your garden, with a lower chance to mutate even more fruit during the process. Unfortunately, the Phoenix pet has a very low chance of appearing from an Enchanted Chest. The Molten Mutation is part of the volcano admin event or getting it from the Lobster Thermidor pet. While it doesn’t matter what order you get each mutation on your plant, once they’re both on it, they’ll combine to make Blazing. Another one that requires a combination is the Clay Mutation. What Does the Blazing Mutation Do?
Like all mutations, Blazing adds a value multiplier to your crops. In this case, Blazing adds a x52 multiplier that increases the profits of your crops when selling them.
