When you open a can of BentSpoke’s Floriade sparkling water, you get a hit of floral scents.

CD did a little taste test of the drink that will be on offer at the Canberra brewery’s pop-up garden at Floriade, which runs at Commonwealth Park from 13 September to 12 October.

As I brought the glass of the sparkling water – accompanied by ice and fresh blueberries – to my lips, it was like an explosion of flowers in my mouth.

The can had a cute and colourful design of flowers on it, and the taste exceeded my expectations. I thought the floral taste would be subtle but rather, it packed a punch!

The non-alcoholic drink is a collaboration between BentSpoke and Events ACT to createan exclusive sparkling water for the festival, which was canned locally in Mitchell.

Bentspoke co-founder and head brewer Richard Watkins said the brewery would also have a new iced tea product on offer.

“We will also offer non-alcoholic options, making it family-friendly and inclusive,” Mr Watkins said.

“We want to create a space where people can relax, enjoy quality local drinks, and connect with the community.”
