damn what even is this plant :000
id cut one of the stems to see if it’s still alive. If its green and firm then it’s ok. Then *if* it’s alive repot it into better soil (why is it in rocks wtf) and an actual pot that drains.

*maybe* (depending on what this poor guy actually is) there is a chance for him to grow some leafs.

tbh if I were you I’d throw this away, even if it’s still alive somehow that it’s too much of a bother.

I’m curious why your doctor gave you a plant tho. I can’t imagine my helfcare providers ever doing that haha. lowkey jealous, even if it’s just a dead plant.

Nah, it’s totally saveable. Take the rocks off the top to start with then cut all the stems down to about the same height as the top of your ‘A’ key. Indirect sunlight all day for a week and no water then give it a good proper drink and leave alone until December.

  3. Looks like a very unhappy kalachoe. Maybe put it in a succulent mix, water it a bit, and make sure it’s got some decent light. I had one die back to stem and it came back (but now it’s got fungus so I’m probably going to chop it down again, treat the fungus, and let it grow again).

I hope she gives you better care than this poor baby got.

I’d argue that one of those tiny green stems could grow, but it’d need way more sun that whatever it got before but its so tiny I’d start all recouping SLOWLY. Plant ICU 🪴 🏥

Chop all the tips off until the cross section is green then repot in cactus soil. Or you can just cut into stem sections, let the cuts callous, then stick those in fresh soil and they should reroot. Once rooted, just water when the leaves start to shrink/shrivel slightly. At that point they can tolerate drying out for a bit.

I would cut each down half way and put it in some indirect light for a bit cuz you will have to adapt it to brighter light then it had been getting if it was in shade. Water every two weeks but bottom water it. Also if you get some fresh succulant soil it will probably give it a big boost in growth. I would definitely repot it in fresh soil.
