Help with garden bed planting ideas

I hope this is alright to post here. I’m quite new to Reddit overall.

I received some difficult news about my young daughter’s health recently and have been trying to find ways to distract myself and put energy into things like gardening.

I wanted to complete the planting for these two beds I have in my garden and I’m not an expert so I thought I’d ask for advice here.

I have attached images of the beds as well as sketches to show the current layout with dimensions. I asked ChatGPT to suggest what could fill the gaps and have made a note of this on the sketch as well as which way each bed faces. I’m not sure what it suggested would all fit and so don’t know what to choose. The west facing bed currently has some tomatoes and a pumpkin plant which will soon be gone to leave space.

I’m looking for mix of Mediterranean and cottage feel with colour.

If anyone could help me with what to put in the spaces, I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance.
