What a good boy! I posted here a while back because I had accidentally killed the crown on this AV (fertilized water came in contact with the top of the crown and was not cleaned off). I did take some leaves to propagate, but I also continued to nurture this one in case it made a comeback. It shot out a few suckers in an effort to save itself! They seem to be doing well. If you were me, how would you decide when it’s time to separate them?

Separate what? The picture looks like a full plant, are you talking about leaf props?

Depends on your hands! Seriously, when the new plantlet is large enough you can easily handle it with nimble fingers, go for it. Be sure you have the new one bagged/domed while it grows roots.
