   The camera angles are great! How long does it take to set up and edit all that magic? Your videos are my morning coffee ☕—Saturdays are the worst because I go into withdrawal without them! Thank you for sharing all of your knowledge and your amazing family with us.

   My grannie was the queen of bearded iris. She used cow manure for fertilizer. She told me that you plant them like ducks on water. 😊 they had a farm in Thomaston Ga. They didn’t have nurseries, they grew from neighbors clipping or from seed from the feed store.

   I have a beautiful Iris patch. After watching this video, I would like to spread them out more. Can I dig them up this fall and move them?? I love Iris. All the colors are so eye-catching. ❤😊

   Our family has an old bearded iris that has been passed down from my grandmother (whom I never met)….over 60 years ago! Iris hold a special place in my garden.

   Does anyone have advice on planting in a yard that gets flood irrigation? I'm in a farming community, and we get flood irrigation every 2 weeks. It takes about 12hrs to drain. I'm struggling with what I can plant as far as bushes and ground cover for the lower level of my food forest. I'm planting 25 iris in my non flood area in a couple of weeks. Super excited about it. We're in Arizona zone 9b.

    Wow.. huuuuge order. They will all be fabulous. We got a quick glimpse of the chatalpas on the other side of the pond area, they have gotten huge. How in the world did I miss them in the garden tour.. ooohhh I bet they smell amazing.. the blue ocean or blue ocean wave, I think, is my fav. Beautiful blue. We should ask Aaron if he likes it because it is actually blue, and not purple trying to be classified as blue. 🤭🤭🤭🍃🍃🌱🌱🌿🌿🌳

    Back when I got married I was 23 years old. The people that owned our house had so many plants for the purpose of attracting birds, butterflies and bees. But, because we were young, and had no interest at all in gardening then, we pulled everything out and gave things away to family. They had the most beautiful iris plants here. I don't know what we were thinking back then. Lol Just shows that interests come at different points in life I guess. Those are all beautiful varieties of Iris, Laura.

    I just got Easter Charm, Slovak Prince, Flash of Light, Starring and Hello Darling this fall can't wait to see them bloom. So far I have 11 varieties and no room for new varieties. My backyard is about Monica's size. I am always telling hubby I wish I had a couple acres I would start an Iris farm and breed my own Irises ☺

    Do iris plants return every year? That was such a fun tour seeing all of the varieties with that episode! So you got bulbs? Splashes of gorgeous colors for the pond area would be so exciting!

    I noticed when you planted the iris’s you were planting them a little slanted. Is there a reason for that, will they grow upwards?

    I recall that we broke the iris store after that field trip our girls took to Sutton’s. Lots of us went to their website and ordered all their stock – sold them out. I was one of them. I’m still waiting for my order, and it seems they are still behind. I hope mine come this week.

    I love my maroon colored raptor irises! They are located by my front yard gate…tree frogs & toads like them too! My husband & I captured & relocated the frogs further down to the neighbors pond. They managed to find their favorite area again…🤨🙄

    Can’t wait to see all those iris in bloom! So jealous! I have mostly shade. Yes Blue Suede shoes salvia is a hummingbird magnet. Also “Black and Blue” salvia!

    Wonderful selection of iris. My Uncle Frank grew several hundred varieties hidden by a perfectly manicured boxwood hedge so the blooms peaked over the top of the hedge. You evoked a wonderful memory thank you.
