Here’s an unnessecary amount of information!
I bought my Alocasia about a month or 2 ago? In pretty rough shape. This was my very first aroid and so it’s been a learning curve, however, most of the failure has been on my poor PPP. The Alocasia has been doing very well in my bathroom, and popped out 3 new leaves in that time (I cut off the original 3 as each new leaf came because they were in very bad shape). I came home today, however, and noticed a discoloration on 2 of the leaves. After looking further, they look like a pock marking? Pure green, and slightly indented on the back. I am terrified as my PPP also had this weird discoloration/ indention before it began falling off a cliff.
In the bathroom, it gets around 50% humidity, however for about an hour after I shower, it gets up to 80%. Temperature is pretty steady at 75 Fahrenheit. I water maybe every 4 days, and very little amount, around 2 fl. oz. It’s still in the soil it came in, which looks to be mostly moss. It has its own grow light, which is on for 12 hours.

I think these may be thrips. I’m still learning pests myself, but the patches of discoloration makes me think thrips if I’m recalling what I’ve read correctly!
Looks like thrips or sunburn. I’m leaning thrips
I think this looks like a watering issue? You should try to only water the plant when the top ~2inches of soil are dry to the touch, and you should drench the soil until water runs out the bottom of the pot. Alocasias can be pretty easy to overwater in my experience
