Also if someone could ID my cacti that'd be great. I think there's two different kinds in here. For scale theyre about 1-1.5" diameter.

  2. What does your lighting look like? Watts/sqft? What is your target ppfd? LEDs or HPS?

What do temps and humidity look like when lights are on and off?

    What is your vpd?

    What is your light schedule?

What kind of soil mix are you using?

    What is your runoff PH?

What does your feed and water schedule look like?

What does the NPK and micro nutrient ratios on your feed look like?

All of those questions will help give anybody who wants to help a better understanding of your setup so they can pinpoint any problematic growth parameters and help you get better results.

Ive noticed recently that when i focus on growing strong roots girth follows

Maxigro, better lighting and stay away from most bridgesii since many just grow skinny

You have to form an “o” with your four fingers and thumb at which point your gonna wanna squeeze it gently right at the base.

From this point onward its pretty much cacti-dependent, but it usually will begin to get thicker if you’re doing it right.

Individual pots for each cacti. Larger the pot bigger the width. Stable temps preferably pretty cool in the low 70’s. Plenty of fresh air and quality feed schedule making sure to push certain types of nitrogen at the correct time. Plenty of quality light.

A lot of those look like Bridgesii which grow skinnier than Scopulicola, Pachanoi, and Peruvians. Try feeding with nutrients.
