Hey, guys. So, we finished building our new house a few months ago. I decided I wanted to tackle as much landscaping in the back yard as I can to get a head start for next spring. I just finished up this portion today. This is my first time doing any landscaping. I still need to clean up the edging rip-rap pieces on the outside. There is a full drip irrigation system installed as well. Fabric is under the river rock only. Throughout the yard, there are other features like this, and tree islands and such. What do you think? Anything I can improve up for the next spot?

Not a professional but looks amazing!!! All colours including rocks are super rich.
Looks good. However, the downspout will destroy that dirt path on the right. I would direct it towards the stone or even bury it and discharge near the large stones.
Man I want those blue stones!
It’s amazing! Great job!!!
Sorry, forgot to add- this is just the shop, this isn’t our house in the picture. So, this is our back yard.
The only thing I don’t like or I would say more so that I’m iffy about are the large boulders in the foreground. They’re a little ‘too’ big and look off with all the smaller ones next to them. It doesn’t look bad though.
Some architectural lighting on this would really make it all pop though but I get how a lot of people feel about that.
The “rivers” of rock are artistically placed, but could use some variation in rock sizes. Go visit an actual creek and observe the rock sizes. There’s a surprisingly big size difference in small creeks
Looks great! The pebbles will mix a bit with the mulch over time. I wouldn’t try to hard to avoid it, I’d let it happen.
