🤢🤢🤮🤮 I've had this guy two years. I recently moved and its been getting too much sun and I haven't been giving it enough water. I used to drain the water before refilling it but recently I've been lazy and when I water it, it seems completely drained already. Gave it water yesterday then noticed this today. I'm done i give up. I retire. Fake plants only moving forward. Goodbye reddit plant community. Lucky bamboo in rocks.

Mosquito mom 😔
Mosquito bits will solve your problem
That’s mosquito babies, congrats! They really hate to be fed mosquito bits, in the red bag, so if you looove being a mosquito mom, definitely don’t feed them that
Dump the water outside or down the toilet, not the sink. Wash the rocks with gentle soap and water throughly rinse with water. Rinse the roots thoroughly with water, gentle massage to make sure no larve try to stick to a root. Wash container and rinse thoroughly. Refill with fresh water. You’re a good mom you just cant help the company your kids attract as they get older. Hope this helps! Goodluck!
also just stick it in dirt where it belongs.
No need to buy a product, just drain and rinse the gravel once, then repeat weekly. Your plant will do better if you add a liquid fertilizer each time.
Tanlin works quite well for me. I typically get these in my outdoor water gathering buckets though. How’d they get in 😅
I’ve had that happen before. Dump the water outtside in a spot that gets lots of sun so the larve and eggs die quick. Rinse everything, including the roots, with a solution of 1 part hydrogen peroxide and 4 parts water. Replace your water and check every day for about 4-5 days to make sure no more larva have hatched. You could also just rinse w/ the peroxide solution 3-4 days in a row.
Get a goldfish.
Problem solved.
After cleaning and if you put it back in water add a copper(!) penny
AW HELL NAW
Lucky bamboo only barely lives in rocks like that. You should replace the pebbles with actual soil. Also the yellow one is dead. You can cut off the green part and put it in water until it roots to propagate it though.
I got one of these as a gift. I planted it in chunky well draining soil and it’s thriving. Oh and no mosquito larvae to worry about. 😉
I very lovingly cared for a batch of these thinking that my little frogs had babies when I was young. I was disappointed!
Get mosquito dunks
Just put your plant into quality soil. Although often sold in water, *Dracaena sanderiana* isn’t aquatic plant by nature.
On the bright side you could become a betta mom and fed them to your newly acquired friend, or do the other suggestions.
Friends!!!+
Honestly, it’ll be alright. Just change the water.
Throw the water out girlllll watchu waiting for them to grow wings🤣
