Soft and fuzzy, feels like an animals ear. What is this plant? I tried to google image search and I’m not sure how accurate it was but it came up with many names with a couple being “lambs ear” and “fuzzy wuzzy”

Lamb’s ear for sure! I had it in my wedding bouquet, simply because it was so cool to touch.

Make sure you do not buy mullein! It is very invasive

I borrowed a plant from my neighbor and put it in my yard and I love it. It will spread though so just be careful where you put it

  4. Big plus…I’ve never had the whitetail deer eat it.

looks like lambs ear, but if youre in range look into pearly everlasting. it has these beautiful leaves but also really pretty, extremely long lasting flowers (well not actually flowers, but they look like flowers and the bees like em)

Lambs ear. It will become your whole garden. Also, all of your neighbors’ gardens as well.

lambs ear can be extremely invasive ans sends out roots several feet out I’ve seen one sprout over 8 feet from the main plant.

I have found it works well in sun or shade. A little will come peeking out even in your shady spots where hardly anything else will make the effort. Readily seeds so remove spent blooms. I think the blooms are wonderful and very showy if it has at least four hours of sun.

You want this. It’s soft, fuzzy, a pleasant shade of gray and is drought tolerant. It does not seem to need fertilizer and the bees love it when it blooms.
