Hello, I found a “rescue plant” in a storage container by the dumpster at my apartment!! It was a mixed planter with golden pothos and jade pothos together, and had clearly seen better days. I chopped it up and the mother plant is regrowing amazingly, and all my other various pothos / philodendron cuttings are taking root and doing good.
My only issue is these stem pieces I chopped off. I am getting some new growth popping out, but no roots. They have been propagating in water for 2.5 months, in clear vases near an east-facing window, with a couple hours of direct sunlight in the early morning. I have 2 sansi grow lights running 12 hours a day on my cuttings, and I think my issue is where I made my cuts. I know these cuttings have multiple nodes in them, so I think trimming them down might be my answer. Would love some insight and thoughts on the situation!!
