I don’t know enough to tell you the variety, but that is a rose. Those berry looking things are rose hips.

These are rosehips, fruits of the Rose bush. Both pretty and delicious.
Remove the seeds and leafy bits, boil until soft, puree with an immersion blender, sweeten to taste and add a little cornstarch to thicken, and you have Swedish culinary delight nyponsoppa.
