Located in Michigan. Thanks to this sub I had the confidence to give a lawn renovation a try in the back and side yards. First I had to rip out 2 tons of contaminated railroad ties. The lawn was bentgrass (and weeds) that ripped up in big patches anytime my puppy ran around. I mowed low, and scarified to get most of it up, then aerated, leveled, seeded with lawn synergy North Star, rolled, applied tenacity, starter fertilizer, and peat moss. Luckily there’s irrigation in place, just need to tweak a few sprinkler heads. Plan to do the front yard in the spring if this works out, but needed somewhere for the pup. Fingers crossed

Sounds like you did everything right but didn’t get the memo about peat moss (where is the peat moss bot).
I’m sure it will be fine though, it looks great man. How r/mildlyinfurating about all that junk being buried in your yard, yikes.
what machine do you use to remove the turf ?
